End of September, 2010

These are just some random pictures to round out the month of September.

Kanyon's friend Bryant had a Birthday and he got this FUN Thomas the Train play tent. They had alot of fun playing inside this.

Kanyon had her first field trip with her "class". We all went to the duck pond to feed the ducks and have a picnic. Not all duck ponds have fences around the ducks, but it was nice that this one did. We didn't have to worry about those mean geese biting one of the kids or having one of the kids fall in the water.

We picked a couple other watermelons from the garden. This is one of Kanyon's favorite things to do!

Have a piece!!

September, Part X

Here are some pictures from our photo shoot at Sears.
And yes, I have the copyright, for any of you who might be worried  :)

September, Part IX

Friends & Family...
Next time you see me, my hair will be much shorter!
I cut it and donated it to Locks of Love.

My hair girl, Joann, was measuring it. It has to be at least 10 inches, in a ponytail, to be able to donate.

There it is... kinda gross when its not attached to your head

September, Part VIII

Here are pictures from another trip to the Treehouse Museum.

They have this tile wall that they kids can just get paint brushes with water on them and they can draw on it. Kanyon is trying to make a "W". That is her favorite letter right now.
Kanyon & Lane LOVE the school room. I am sure the excitement will wear off as they get older. Then it won't be 'fun' to go to school anymore.  I don't know why Kanyon was doing things left-handed this day, she usually doesn't.

 "Look, Mom!! A "W"!!"
Granny came with us to the museum. Ridge was super excited that he didn't have to be stuck in a pack all morning. This is the staircase the winds up inside a huge "tree" in the museum. Hi Ridge!!
Kanyon likes the Art Station too. She always says she is making a picture for Daddy. Usually its just a bunch of scrap paper that she's cut into a billion pieces. This is the only place she ever uses scissors.

 The music room.

I love it when she listens to the baby's heartbeat.

 Giving the baby her medicine.

Looking through the microscope. Its cool because you can put something under it and they kids can actually see it since the eye part is so big. They have little slides there of sugar, salt, & pepper for the kids to look at.

Dr. Kanyon had to check out Ridge's heartbeat too.

Kanyon likes to play on the computers because she doesn't get yelled at like she does at home :)
This one was reading her "The Cat In The Hat"...one of my favorites!

Deputy Ridge was overlooking today's activities and approved of it all.
