Strollin'

Kanyon LOVES to go for walks. Now that Aunt Rachel has moved in, we've been walking more often. Our motivation to walk is knowing that we will be walking to the gas station to get a yogurt cone! Yum. Here are some pics of Kanyon enjoying her stroll to the gas station.

Wow, I need to check your blog more often! I swear I was just here 2 days ago and now I've missed 3 posts! crap! Jake is dellusional. SNAKES and excitement do NOT go in the same sentence. He is killing me. I refuse to even see those serpents of the devil at the zoo behind the glass. That is too close. That is my #1 fear of all time. It's not natural to be able to move -- and move that fast -- when you have no legs. Even worms bother me. They are guilty by their rather unfortunate appearance and movement association. Ugh.

...And can I tell you that I laughed at your yogurt cone stuff... me and my sister used to do just exactly that same thing. You and I are similar creatures, and if that doesn't scare you, nothing will. (besides snakes) I can't believe what a grower that Kanyon is! She is so stinkin cute... complete with pinchable cheeks and all! Good heavens, I would absolutely love to take pictures of your adorable daughter. You just name the time. I absolutely love it. That person in the line at weddings that won't move along cuz they are busy gauking at the pictures and different posing ideas.... yeah, that would be me. Best thing is, you would help me out building my, ahem, portfolio adding to my "someday" plan AND you would have all the pics (seeing as I have no copyright legal jargon at the end of my pictures. When Jake gets back (or before) we need to plan something of a get together. You guys are too fun not to converse with on a more regular, in-person, basis.

And as Tyson is standing over my shoulder reminding me that comments are intended to be BRIEF (he clearly doesn't know what brief means on my planet) I'm going to wrap up this neverending comment and bring home the underlying point(s).

1. Absolutely positively adorable daughter.
2. Jake is crazy. But helpful. Not sure if one cancels out the other though. I'll get back to you.

I think that's all. :)

Nope... that's not all. (Do you all of a sudden feel like you have this person on the phone or on your porch that won't go away no matter what?) I know you missed hearing from me already. I swear I'm not blog stalking you. :) But good luck with your gall blatter mess. That is no fun. Stupid nurses anyway.

Okay.... That's all for real this time.

I love the flower on Kanyon! And the smiles. Sorry you have to deal with the gall bladder mess. I hope the ensuing surgery goes well for you and that you get a competent nurse.
